Precision collimating lens made of JGS1 fused silica for handheld laser welding and cleaning guns.
The collimating lens is the first lens in the laser head optical system. It converts the diverging beam from the optical fiber into a parallel beam, which the focusing lens (F150/F200/F800) then concentrates into a spot.
Lifespan: 12–24 months with proper protective lens maintenance.
Protect the collimator by regularly replacing protective lenses (€7–8 each). One damaged protective lens can destroy a €70 collimator.
Compatible with handheld welding and cleaning heads with Raycus and JPT sources.
